Digital Technology

Oral Surgery Specialists of Tennessee are proud to have a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine. This revolutionary technology allows our staff to view a complete and accurate image of your mouth almost instantly. This technology makes problems easily visible to both patient and doctor. Patients can view the areas our surgeons will be working on, making procedures more understandable. Our newest addition to augment patient care is the iCAT scanner.

The i-CAT is 3-dimensional cone beam low radiation CT scanner that is rapidly becoming standard of care for maxillofacial procedures.

This sophisticated in-office CT scanner is able to provide the most complete information on the anatomy of a patient's mouth, face, and jaw areas by producing three-dimensional views of all oral and maxillofacial structures which leads to the most accurate treatment planning and predictable outcomes for surgical procedures.

The superior image quality and anatomically accurate 3-D patient detail allows for virtual planning with distortion-free images and precise orthodontic treatment planning, all at a fraction of the radiation and cost of a traditional CT scan.

Come experience the latest in advanced technology at OSST, the only cone beam scanner in the area!
